Pipe Swaging Machine perfectly reduces / increase the diameter of a Pipe or any Solid rod to the required length. We offer Linear Swaging Machines that are based on cold forming process. The hydraulically operated Pipe Swaging Machine considerably reduces raw material wastage. The machine is controlled by PLC. MMI enables control on Swaging length.FUNCTION:FUNCTION:	The pipe to be swaged is placed in between fixed and movable jaws of the pipe clamping mechanism in such a way that a portion of the pipe to be swaged protrudes towards the swaging die.  The clamping cylinder is moving forward to hold the pipe between the jaws with the required clamping force. At this time, the Swaging die is kept in fully retracted position.	Once the clamping pressure is reached, the pressure switch gives signal to swaging.  At this point of time, die and tube is lubricated by lub oil automatically. All other moving parts of the machine are provided with grease nipples at various points to facilitate grease lubrication from time to time.	Once clamping and lubrication are ensured, swaging die cylinder is operated to start the swaging process. The end of the tube  to be swaged  enters the die as a die approaches the tube.  As the die moves further, the tube is formed. Reduced diameter pipe passes through the die. The swaging length of the pipe is controlled by  limit switches which is settable.	After the tube passes through the die, a clamping mechanism holds the pipe and die goes back. Then de-clamp takes place. The machine is controlled by electrical logic control/ PLC which controls both the automatic and setting mode cycles of the machine.Once tube got swaged to the particular length, the  Automatic tube conveyor system with Gear motors and Kicker cylinders will take in-charge to shift the tube to other station.SPECIFICATIONS:1. The upset increases the wall thickness to provide the machining stock and strength necessary for joining the tubes together. The dimensions of the upset ends for oil industry tubes differ based on the API standard. The configuration of the tube end may be classified as external upset, internal upset and internal-external upset.Depending on the type of upset, the wall of thickness may be increased by a maximum of 50% for external or internal-external upsets. It may be increased by a maximum of 100% for internal upsets. Depending on the limits, the API upsets can be forged in one or two operations.Forging of tubes generates tremendous forces across the dies.
